Your schedule runs the transmitter now.
As of 2026-08-30 the Program Schedule grid is not a suggestion. What you place on the grid is pushed into the broadcast engine automatically. Place it right and it airs right. This guide is the law of the grid.
1. The clock
STATION LOCAL TIMEYou schedule in your station clock — the timezone shown at the top of your Program Schedule page. Nanao schedules in Tokyo time, Philadelphia schedules in Eastern. The engine converts and enforces in your local time, every 15 minutes, and it follows daylight-saving shifts on its own. You never enter UTC. You never do clock math.
2. The naming law
EXACT MATCHA grid slot airs only if its name matches a playlist on your station — exactly. Slot says 2h Talk, playlist must be named 2h Talk. A slot labeled with a DJ name, a note, or a show title that has no matching playlist is treated as information on the wall: it displays on your grid, it never touches the air, and it is logged as UNMAPPED. If you want it to air, name the slot after the playlist that holds the audio.
3. Dead-air protection
EMPTY = OFFAn empty playlist is never scheduled, no matter what the grid says. The engine refuses to point the transmitter at silence — the hour falls back to your general rotation instead, and the refusal is logged. Load the audio first; within 15 minutes of the playlist having content, its slots go live without you touching anything.
4. No double-booking
ONE HOUR, ONE SHOWThe system now rejects overlapping show placements on the same station — including overnight shows that cross midnight. If you try to stack an hour you get told exactly what it collides with, and nothing is saved. Remove the old slot first, then place the new one. Stacked grids are history.
5. Fills vs shows
KNOW THE DIFFERENCEShows and playlist slots own their window. Fills (rotation blocks with no show attached) are background — a new fill replaces old fills it overlaps. Anything you don't schedule at all plays your station's general rotation. Silence is never the default.
6. Network windows
CURRENTLY PARKEDHQ can arm network-required windows that carry across every affiliate and lock those hours on your grid — you'll see them marked, and the system will refuse local placements over them. As of this writing they are parked off network-wide. When HQ arms them you will see them; nothing for you to do.
7. When your show isn't airing — the four checks
